Cedar Cladding

Cedar Cladding at Milverton Sawmill
We carry stocks of feather-edge (150mm and 200mm wide), which we can profile to your specification. We also carry stocks of waney-edge in various thicknesses.
Cedar is well known for its durability, insulation qualities and beautiful colouring and fragrance. It is particularly popular for facing timber-framed buildings, garages, garden buildings and barns.
Depending on local conditions, cedar cladding can last for many decades without any treatment. However, many people choose to treat it to prolong its life. |
We can also do cladding in douglas fir, larch and spruce. These species are less expensive than cedar because they are less durable, but offer extremely good value for money. They provide attractive, locally sourced alternatives.
All of the above can be pressure treated to increase their durability.
